- About 1 hour before you plan to fly, take 2 ginger pills (available from any drug store or health food place).
- Drink ginger ale all morning, all you can stand.

I have three circumnavigations under sail. I give my crew members the aforementioned ginger, a couple of hours before setting sail, if they talk about being a victim of Sea sickness. Also, I advise that they keep an eye on the horizon as the infirmity seems to be related to the fact that your stomach, your eyes and your brain are not paying attention to the same inputs.
