I have spend some time crunching some Speed 2 Fly numbers and have come up with the some general conclusions that maybe of interest.
1a. Fly best glide for nil wind to tail wind when lift is below 1.5 m/s up average - outcome: you will achieve 90% or better of the Cross Country speed of someone using 100%...
